Lately, Britain’s Royal Mint is surveying the public on choosing the next person to be placed on a British Coin. This would be another Great Briton collectible series. They have been doing this for a while now and have honored in the past personalities such as William Shakespeare, Winston Churchill, Charles Darwin, Florence Nightingale and Sir Isaac Newton. People have been voting for a while now and guess who’s number four on the rankings; John Lennon.
Well, Lennon indeed is a great Briton. They already Knighted Paul McCartney, why not place Lennon on a coin to immortalize his legacy. Lennon indeed has brought pride and fame for the country by becoming one of the most influential artists in the whole world as a group and a solo performer. Also, he’s one of the most renowned songwriter, singer, guitar player and peace advocate. Talk about multi – tasking. And everyone knows, the whole world knows that Lennon and McCartney is the unbeatable tandem in songwriting and has penned a bucketful of songs and hits that sold millions worldwide. All in the name and glory of the British Flag. So I think that it is only righteous to put him on a coin as a memory and tribute to all his works. Or better yet, include McCartney two, the both of them on one coin.
